How to Request a Home Visit
In order to help us plan the day, requests for non-urgent home visits should be made before 11.00am.
Home visits are for housebound patients or frail patients, and patients who are genuinely too ill to come into the surgery.
Lack of transport is not a valid reason for a home visit.
Where possible, requests for a home visit should be made before 11am.
The receptionist will ask the reason for the visit please give her as much information as possible, this will enable the doctors to prioritise urgent cases.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in surgery, in the time it takes to do a home visit.
